The Trattoria Toscana Al Vecchio Forno is located in the heart of the medieval village of San Quirico d’Orcia, 50 meters from the Palazzo del Capitano, Via Piazzola 8 in the alleyway that runs alongside the church of San Francesco.
The restaurant is set in a 1500s building, the old bakery of the village, ithis leads to his name inside a wine cellar carved into the stone, solid wood and marble tables, of rural old objects and a romantic fireplace in an atmosphere of ancient times in fine weather, in the garden, between bushes of aromatic plants and flowers, under the lemon or the wisteria pergola, by the fountain, or the old well will surely be a magical moment.
Our wine cellar has about 250 labels of the best local and national selections and we are at the continuos research of products that manage to maintain a good quality at the best price.
The Trattoria is open to anyone including people who are not guests of the Capitano Hotel Collection, seats are limited and it is always reccomended the reservation (open everyday lunch and dinner).
