Monticchiello is a fraction of Pienza, a 10-minute drive from San Quirico d’Orcia, where about 200 inhabitants live. Excellent spot to enjoy a unique view of the Val d’Orcia, Monticchiello is also known for its so-called “poor” theater in which all the inhabitants are authors / actors which takes place in the summer, outdoors every year for over 50 years.
