Bagni San Filippo is a fraction of the municipality of Castiglione d’Orcia about 10 minutes drive from San Quirco d’Orcia, on the slopes of Monte Amiata. It is a small spa (sulphurous waters), but suggestive for the presence of limestone deposits that form white concretions of calcium carbonate and waterfalls. The name derives from the village church dedicated to San Filippo Benizi.
